olmick Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 since my pro circuits are starting to make my quad look like crap from all the rust spots on them, i was wondering if anyone has painted them with header paint, would it even stick to the nickel plated pipes? or could i sand them down and then paint them, if anyone has ever tried this, just let me know Quote

bbcmudtruck Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 I spent alot of time stripping, sanding and painting with med high temp paint. The first ride it completely bubbled off. I used good quality high temp primer and paint. I have the fmf fatty gold series that are nickel plated. It didnt work for me. Im just going to buy chromed pipes. Quote
