snowmanzz13 Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) what blaster a arms accept a banshee front end? hubs spindles brakes an what not? i'd love to put a disc brake system on my blaster Edited July 17, 2007 by snowmanzz13 Quote
nunyabinness Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 what blaster a arms accept a banshee front end? hubs spindles brakes an what not? i'd love to put a disc brake system on my blaster none. but you can modify the spindles to work on the blaster. it's pretty simple to do. Quote
snowmanzz13 Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 so if i modify the spindles i can run the whole banshee front braking system? and also what needs to be modified? Quote
nunyabinness Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 yes that is correct. i have banshee brakes on my 2000 blaster. the only thing you have to do is drill the top spindle mount. you just use a 9/16" drill bit. then you need to use a 1/4" drill bit and drill through the side of the upper spindle mount. the little hole you will need to thread it and put a bolt in there. i will get you some pics of my spindles tomorrow. nunyabinness Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 shit dude, i totally spaced it about the pics. i'm sorry. i will go out right now and get pics. i will have them up in about 5 minutes. again i'm very sorry about that. Quote
snowmanzz13 Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 lol no prob i forgotten about this post totally too untiill i was looking around the site and saw that you replied to my q, lol an thanks, don't worry about forgetting about it Quote
nunyabinness Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 just had a little scare. went out to get those pics and my camera took a shit. it like only half way turned on but wouldn't turn off or any thing. so i changed the batteries and it started working again. usually it will turn on and the screen will tell me that the batteries are "exhausted" but i guess they were to dead to even get that far. lol. anyway the pics are being uploaded to photobucket right now. Quote
nunyabinness Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 well maybe they are uploading.... my computer is beeing really slow for some reason. i will give it a few more seconds if nothing changes i will try restarting my computer. so please bear with me. Quote
snowmanzz13 Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 no problem whenever you get em done Quote
nunyabinness Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 finally they uploaded. the only thing you have to do is modify the upper spindle mount. you have to drill it out with a 9/16" drill bit. then you drill another hole in the side of the spindle mount and thread it. i think mine is 1/4" X 20. anyway here's the pics to show you what i am talking about. the a-arm showing in each of the pics is the upper blaster a-arm. if you need anymore pics or better pics let me know.
