KaosBanshee44 Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 I found out some good advice the other day and thought i would share with all the newbies out there. Ofcourse i'm bored at work and have nothing else to do and kinda curious to see how many people know about this. When your looking at the brake lever side on your bike there is a little glass window on your carb. When you push on the throttle very slow to bring the slider up there is a little dot that is on your slider. When you see the dot in the window of your carb that's when you want to adjust the screw on your throttle assy so that your slider isn't going up to far when on the throttle. It's the final breaking point on your pin so that your not letting to much gas just pound in the carb which causes excess gas to flow out your tubes coming from your carb. This also may cure bogging issues for some people. I never knew this til the other day when i was adjusting some stuff on the cable and doin some other stuff. Just thought i should pass this on and by the way you don't know how bored i am at work....lol Cody Quote
MILO Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 hey cody, you must be pretty bored, lol. yeah, that should be done every time you have the carb tops off to help sync the carbs. i usually pull the filter off and look thru the intake and watch the slides move and adjust as needed also. Quote

I work in a Petroleum Chemical Laboratory so if i'm getting paid the money i'm getting paid right now i'm not gonna go look for another job when i can play on the internet......lol It's just sometimes you don't have anything coming in so you just sit there...lol That's why i have so many post right now. doorslammer Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 hey i get the same problem at school with alot of sites being banned like myspace and hotmail but if you internet allows you to get onto www.proxysurfs.com you might be able to get to the sites, it works at school. the website should allow you to get around the internet filter for most websites :beer: Quote
