twinrock Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 ok if i run a 4mm long rod..115mm i need those special pistions..is this also the case if i use the 420cc cub kit..? in other words ..i want to up grade my engine i will statr with the crank first im addvised to get long rod..then when i have more monny ill get the cub 68mm bore cylinders will this still all work..ps im still aware that the head will have to match the hights of the new crank.. Bansh-eman Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 your jugs wont matter with the rod length. the extra length is made up for in the piston. for your jugs your port timing are differant to accomedate the new stroke. if you get a cub the port timings ill already match for the stroker. if u run stockers you will have to get them ported to match Quote
