I got my axle in the other day and went to install it, i noticed one c ring is larger than the other and seems to serve no purpose with this axle.. My question is how many c rings did you recieve and or did i recieve the wrong clip?

i believe that the g-force have to rings... on goes in a groove on the right side and the brake hub slips over it and locks it in place keeping it from coming off and one goes on the left side after you slide the axle nut on then "unscrew" the axle nut to expand it against the clip to tighten everything up and keep the clip in place...but it's been about a year since i installed a g-force so dont quote me...

That's correct. But I don't think they were different sizes.

How much of a size diff are we talking about on these rings?

Got it all back together, i was sent two different size clips with my axle, one fit and one was to large. A call to rockymountain and everything was fixed. Heres a pic of the difference.... CIMG0231.jpg
