Speed freak Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 I am about to be done with my 485 cheetah and am planing on using it for 1/8 track/ street race's ..here are a few questions....whats the best way to keep the frnt end down willie bar / +6 or+8 swing arm? should I go with the marvin shaw coil over in the back "love it on my 421" with +4 any recomendations on gearing ,, Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 The shorter the swing arm the more traction you will get. I would leave the swinger you have on there and get a wheelie bar. You don't need a shock on a track get a strut you will see an improvement in your times and have a good spot to attach your wheelie bar edit.... Start with a 18/39 and go from there. Last time I went I ran a 17/39 and was running out of gear at 93 mph Quote
