I imagine you would have to make a battery box and mount it somehow, get a 200 watt stator and some sort of charging system. You could do something to your idler gear and put the starter in to turn it but.... Electric start is just a headache! Banshees start good anyways. Quote
Snopczynski Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 If you got money you can do anything. I know a guy that could do it. Your gonna need to run a battery, possibly a bigger stator and a rectifier also. Quote

It's not worth your time in the end and is project that is out of most folks range of ability. :geek: Quote
dajogejr Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Of course it can be done. The more important question is why? Even a high HP, higher compression motor should start pretty easy if the bike is in tune... Now that I got my compression figured out, my bike will start 1st or 2nd kick...every time. If you gotta kick the shit out of your bike, there is something else wrong... Quote
5150banshee Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 a shee is not a shee unless you kick it over!!! F#$k that electric crap. Quote

Traditionally, on the HQ, when this question is asked, it is asked because someone's bike doesn't start easily and they think by turning it over faster or longer with an electric starter might help. :geek: Quote
Bansh88 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Make it an automatic while you're at it. Maybe a windshield too! Quote
MILO Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 hey bud, you don't want to do away with the kick starter. you'll lose that trademark kickstarter ringadingding :yelrotflmao: Quote
