Ok, I am looking to get the R6 Friction Plate and Clutch Plate in my Banshee. I was looking around and I am not completely sure which year or model of the R6 will work in the Banshee, maybe all the years work I don't know. Someone give my an idea of what will work.

I never knew you could do that

I've never heard of anyone using an r6 clutch but im still fairly new to this banshee thing

Not sure what year(s) but I believe these are the Yamaha part numbers:

Springs: 90501-24408 (sold individually)

Steels: YP-15-12 (set of six)

Friction plates: 4H7-16321-02 (set of seven)

I haven't tried 'em myself but will when I smoke a clutch...

not sure if the R6 plates are the same, i know that the FZR 1000 plates fit perfect however... might look into those... i dont have the time to search the part numbers but any dealer can get them for you...

Them friction plates are for a FZR1000 and are $10 ea.

Part# for the R6 is 4FN-16321-00-00 and its for years 99'-02' in 03' they switched to 6 plates with 2 different friction plates Part# 5SL-16321-00-00

I'll probably use the FZR fibers when I need a new clutch too.

you can run stock banshee steels. as far as the fibers i have not ever messured the R6 fibers to see if they fit. just buy FZR 1000 plates. they fit and will hold the same of better then the R6 plates
