Looks lean, how long did you run the bike with those plugs?

About 3 hours of hard riding.

Its not realy a plug chop unless you cut the threads...

It seemed fine like this so...

You can't dial your jets in without doin a good plug chop. Warm the bike up, put in new plugs, run it WOT 1st thru 6th (or 5th if thats as high as you usually go). Then shut her down and coast to a stop. Pull those plugs and put old ones back in to get back to your truck. Chop the threads off and look for ~2 mm tan ring around the base and then your dialed. Any plug that you keep running will turn tan and even black eventually as long as you are not extremely lean.

Can't tell from those pics, sorry but you have to do it how it's explained or it doesn't work. Just lookin at the tops of 'em will not give you an idea of how it is jetted at WOT, just the wide range of how you rode it.

^^^^^I agree^^^^^^^

You may be getting a lot of fuel on the bottom turning the plugs tan, but on the top end with the mains you might be lean. As long as your not cutting out at WOT then you are probably OK and not lean. But if you want to dial them in real good just do a quick chop, takes 5 minutes if you have a vise and a hacksaw.

I would say it looks a tad on the lean side. When I do my plug checks/chops I usually cut them because you get the most accurate reading like that. Id rather cut the threads and make sure im not running lean better to be safe than sorry.

What you need to do is warm the bike up.

Pull the plugs and put brand new ones in.

Go throught 1-6 and hold it WOT for a few seconds in 5th and 6th.

Then pull the clutch,Kill the bike, and coast to a stop.

Get back to the shop and cut the threads off.

Then after that post the pics up.

This will give you a more accurate idea of where you jetting is at.
