Ori Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Hi, My banshee has done this 2 times. The pushrod that goes in the middle of the clutch assy' through the other side of the motor has welded it self to the push lever(where your clutch connects to) TWO times. We fallowed the banshee manual and adjusted it how it said and it still welded itself together. Does anyone what is going on? Thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 so its welded to the clutch arm?? not the ball?? Quote
shanYE west Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 The push rod welded itself to the actuator arm? I've heard of the ball welding to the pushrod but not the rod welding to the actuator arm.. I'd buy a new arm, pushrod and ball and get a pancake bearing and it should be fine. Quote

Does anyone what is going on?Thanks when the clutch ,springs and everything is stock and adjusted just right having that happen is fairly rare.however once you replace the springs and such it becomes more common and a real pain in the a--.before putting it back together and taking the chance of it happening again get a pancake bearing kit and install it. you won't regret spending the money for it. it virtually eliminates the welding problem. passion racing, dave moore ,rdz and a whole lot of others sell them.
