I can't possibly see Engine Ice causing a problem when run with alcohol. DI water is fine as well, but you need to make sure the bike is drained when the winter time come around if you keep your bike where it gets cold.

I personally run DI water with Redline Water Wetter. I now live in a place where it gets cold, so I will be switching to Engine Ice as soon as I work up the energy to change the coolant.

straight distilled water is the best coolant you can do , only issues is it will dry your seals out over time... id run some watter wetter becsue it adds lubricants to your system. and in LA it doesnt freeze so you dont need to worry bout that

Yes...I did have to get off my lazy arse, pull the drain plug on my water pump plate (nice to have with aftermarket cylinders) and add some antifreeze to it.

Then I started it up and let it run for 5 minutes to circulate.

It was tough work I tell you...but somehow I made it through.....

I would say that Water Wetter's primary benefit is that it is a surfactant. The lubrication quality is just a happy side effect. DI water and a surfactant is very near the best cooling medium for an IC engine.
