LiftdT4R Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 Ok, I have an LSR -1 swinger that I was going to have PCed. I went out to take a look at it today, and it almost looks like it has wrist bearings in the front where it would bolt to the frame. There is one at either end of the tube, and there is almost no spacing behind them to get a drift pin or punch in. I tried and could not get them out. SO, I was wondering, as long as I clean out all of the grease as best I can, do you think it will be ok to PC with them in? It looks like there is only metal, no plastic in them, so I would think it would be ok, but I was wondering what you guys think? As always, thanks  Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt and when i had mine off it was all metal as well. An easy way to get them out it so get some 1/2 or so rod from lowes or home depot and stick it in one side of the swing a-ram till it hits the back side of the bearing on the other side. Hit away it should come out. Id recommend putting new ones in afterwards. Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 well to do it right the swingarm should be sandblasted.. in that case, sand would end up in there.. i think id really get them out and do it right. install new ones later. Quote
