stovepipe Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Would like The national part numbers for the rear axle bearings and seals.Anyone ever try getting rear axle bearings and seals from a bearing house ? Is there much of a savings or quility benifit . Quote
woodwardspecialties Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 i know the local bearing shops get a good amount for bearings and seals... the best way to go is the all balls kit, they are cheap in price. Quote
BenBB Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 Bearings are 6007RS, one seal is 62x42x8 the other is 62x43x8 (those are metric dimensions as well as National part numbers on the seals; ODxIDxCC). Never had any problems but I always get good quality Japanese or German (SKF, Fafnir, etc.) bearings, stay away from the Chinese or Thai shit. Quote
