HotCarl Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 What is the exact order the pancake bearing for the clutch and outer clutch hub go in? If anyone has a picture that would help. Quote
Matt96shee Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 man i'm glad someone else is having the same problem i am! i'm going crazy trying to figure it out. What is the exact order the pancake bearing for the clutch and outer clutch hub go in? If anyone has a picture that would help. Quote
theshee Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 I will be taking mine apart this weekend to put in a new clutch, do you want me to take pics of it so you can see how it all goes in there or are you needing to get it done right away. Quote
Snopczynski Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 I posted the same question with the pics of a cascade innovations unit last week. Quote
HotCarl Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 I posted the same question with the pics of a cascade innovations unit last week. I saw that page, but what I'm not clear on is the large washer and the bearing itself. It seems like with all that shit in there the screw isn't long enough to put the nut on. Quote
moneybags Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 I hope this will help. If you need more info or pics let me know. Quote

Matt96shee Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 ok, in the last pic where you're showing the adjustment screw sticking through the flywheel... when that is on and bolted to the inner hub, how do you know how deep to set the setscrew? and, when you turn it, doesn't the whole pancake bearing assembly turn? does the ball need to come out? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 the ball stays in, u adjust it just like a stock one. hold the nut with a wrench. and turn the screw on the inside ... you want to line up the arrows on the top of the cases... so push the arm and then adjust the screw until your lined up... some guys have to go a little offset up to like 1.4 of an inchover.... Matt96shee Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 how do you lock the nut down since you can't get ahold of the pancake bearing shaft? the ball stays in, u adjust it just like a stock one. hold the nut with a wrench. and turn the screw on the inside ... you want to line up the arrows on the top of the cases... so push the arm and then adjust the screw until your lined up... some guys have to go a little offset up to like 1.4 of an inchover.... Snopczynski Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 the hex key slot or phillips slot in the end of the stud. Use loctite blue. Quote
moneybags Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Set up the pancake bearing first then slip the pressure plate over the nut. Note: Make sure the clutch works befor you put the cover back on and start adding fluid. Quote
okbeast Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Anyone else got pics of this? Still a little confused. Quote
