Hey guys just thoguth i'd get all your opinions on which is the best gear material? and also best chain? i'm looking at getting a DID Gold x-ring with steel front and rear sprokets? yes, no. Good, or wood :) thanks in advance

Steel front and rear is a must. Just make sure you get good steel sprockets. Like JT's or RK's, sidewinder is the best, but they are very expensive. I wore my primary drive chain and sprocket set out in less than 30 hours...so definetly stay away from them.

i use any steel front sprockets i have around and i use sidewinder tri moly in the rear. they say that the tri moly is twice as strong as the steel but weighs 35% less than the steel spocket, but u also pay a premium for it.
