I just saw a commercial last night for some new 2stroke marine outboard and its not the etec. It is not made by evinrude and i cant remem who it was by but they compared to etec and they said it was better in every way. the only specs i remem is gas milage they said etec got around 4mpg and this one was 5mpg..

Ya u are right on his shock length. But here are his measurements with no shocks "One more thing, I measured from shock mounting bolt eye to eye at full extension on both of 'em, and here's what I got: Brandon's with Banshee spindles 16-3/8" Mine with YFZ450 spindles 17-3/8" without the bars turned, 16-5/8" on the outside arm when turned".. that is from one of bens posts. So the ltr's MIGHT be possible..

ive been looking into the ltr shocks alittle more and alot of people with ltr are telling me that the front shocks are 17" eye to eye stock, but if u get them rebuilt is when there 17.68". So if u use 450 spindles they might work it would be pushing it but it think ben measured around 17.3". I havent got my hands on one to measure myself so im just going off what ive been told...

it could be but i know it has extra gears in the bottom for either tach or as he said speed. theres also alittle bit more electronics that go with it. theres a few people that run em on here im sure they will chim in sooner or later.

Dont think ltr shocks will work abit long. They are 17.68 long according to WORKS..

what he said.. IMO theres noway its jetted righ tif u take filter off and it runs better... that means that u are getting to much gas for the air u are getting in so u need to go down a size or 2 on your main jet as he said above when u have filter on.. Never run without the filter even for testing its not worth it

i think the ltr shocks would work as long as the res is pointing to the front of bike. If u put them pointing back i think they prob will hit most pipes. But i havent seen or tried it jsut a thaught.

u could try to pm jankab. he isnt to far from u and does good work. hes also know as cubshee on PS.

i use any steel front sprockets i have around and i use sidewinder tri moly in the rear. they say that the tri moly is twice as strong as the steel but weighs 35% less than the steel spocket, but u also pay a premium for it.

U know where to get one ive been trying for the last 2 weeks nacs is out of stock. I havent called them yet to see if there getting more any time soon.

yup they do for 305 but they only have silver instock right now.
