KaosBanshee44 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 O hell i read it wrong, thought that's what he was talking about...lol :yelrotflmao: Quote
first-banshee Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 when I raced street bikes, we never used the clutch during upshifts, but always when downshifting. As far as making your pull easier, if you havent replaced your clutch cable in awhile, try that first, 12 bucks made a world of difference on mine... Quote
kajones Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Thats there to adjust the slack in the cable, not how hard the pull is. There are only 3 ways to soften the pull: 1. Use lighter clutch springs. BAD because the clutch will slip. 2. Buy a easy pull lever setup. 3. Buy a hydraulic clutch lever. An override tranny is meant only for drag racing. You have to pull in the clutch when you are off the gas or else you will bend the shift forks. I know its not what you want to hear, but you just got to get used to it. You will eventually. When my clutch pull was starting to become a bit much, i went to RockyMountainatv.com and bought a Motion Pro Terminator clutch cable for like 20 bucks... best 20 iv ever spent!! Quote
