chris1992 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 ok.. this really sucks.. i think my shocks are shot. They haave never been revalved and theyre 20 years old.. It doesnt go all the way up, when i sit on it it almost bottoms out.. not good.. and the front shocks are less then reputable. So how much we talkin to replace this stuff... Will double rate works shocks be good for rough trail riding.. like big rocks.. will they work? cause right now the suspension on this thing is like.. TEH UBBBBBEEEER SUCKNESS. it tires me out in the first hour. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I have a pair of front shocks and a rear shock I could sell you cheap. They're used and stock but in decent shape. Much better than blown shocks, lol Quote
chris1992 Posted May 8, 2007 Author Report Posted May 8, 2007 i have my eyes on a set of dual rate works shocks, but i need to know if theyre good for trails.. i want cusionay suspension... i go over trails and.. most of the trails are littered with rocks, half sticking out of the ground and theyre about as big as a cantalope.. theyre everywhere. its normal for me now.. but the amount of fatigue it puts on me is difficulyt.. and the handle bars are constantly jerking due to the suspenion being hard as a rock and shot.. Bansh-eman Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 works are very nice... i have some tripple rates with remote rezzes... as long as you get them valved for your wieght and riding you will LOVE them Quote
