dajogejr Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Add timing and compression to get that low end back... Did your low end go away with your port job? I'd bet they did you no favors by making it a mid-top port job... Without knowing just how aggressive the port job is, hard to say if it's worth it. I've been told by many T6 pipes will be fine with slight to moderate porting... Quote
Justintoxicated Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 I doubt it will help your lowend but if you can swap them without a loss I would. Get a Noss Head and some smaller domes and run race fuel then you can get some lowend back Quote
Animalman294 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 The T-6's were designed to work with stock bikes, but I have heard they do "ok" with slight mods. The T-5's are a much better all around pipe. Will you notice a difference maybe, maybe not. I was told there was a definate response difference and top end, and with your port work I would lean towards the T-5's.............. Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 id go with t5's if you can get a good deal on some.. Quote
