SlowerThanYou Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 where is everyone drilling cylinder for the fuel pump bung they say to put on right side just past reed cage just looking for some input thanks We have done it that way, but we now have it in the reed valve spacer and that's the way we prefer it. strokerace Posted May 3, 2007 Author Report Posted May 3, 2007 do you have any pics that sounds like a better wat to me but do they make reed cage spacers for the new d.m. cylinder Quote
strokerace Posted May 3, 2007 Author Report Posted May 3, 2007 got told they dont make reed spacers for that cylinder so i went ahead and drilled it Quote
lowriderb Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 on the motor side of the reeds is where ive seen most of them ran.. between the cylinders is hard to get to on the mono blocks but is clean on the stock cylinders.. with the dm's i would put it right where you did.. just make sure that when you put the barb fitting in its not so deep as to hit the reed cage.. also teflon the threads so you dont have an air leak.. FireHead Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 I have gone below the intake tunnels a couple times. The crank chamber is the best place to have the bung installed. If anyone is interested I can make some bung jokes.................... Quote
