chronicwatson Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 i have an 01 banshee that has been stock pretty much its whole life anyway i'm rebuilding it because it had low comp so i want to know if you guys think i should hone it out or get the cylinders bored and if so how much can you get it bored 10 over or do i have to go 20 over the first time but any way all i want to do is get the most bores out of my cylinders as posable any way thanks guys... chronicwatson Quote
Satsol67 Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 If you can get away with just a hone then thats the way to go. Doing a bore isnt going to get you any more hp. Take them to a shop and have them check to see if a hone is good enough. No since in cutting more of them if not needed. Now if you want more power get them ported now that they are off. Quote
