Race gas ratio/ where do i get it?

ok.. a 4 mil stroker with a dune port, 20cc heads, 2500 ft, +4 timing, shearers, ported cases, duneable overide.

 

i know i need 50/50 for this.. im still working on getting this all together... but im new to the whole race gas thing... where do i get it? what kind? octane? do i put the 2 stroke oil in, fill it halfway with premium pump gas, and then halfway with race gas?

I have 3 gas tanks 1 5 gals of VP 110 1 5 93 And one for mixing. I put 2 gals and 2 into the tank and put 16oz of Castor927 in thats 32:1.

 

As for where to get it try to find a local shop. Ask everybody where and who they get their race gas ect from and go there. Some gas stations sell high test. AV100 Gas from a local airport would do it with your setup and all you have to do is look for one of them Or buy it off the net. Look for the best prices and wave your options. just search well if you really want it.

 

 

Or for your setup just get some 93-94 octane and listen to see if you hear any detonation pinging ratteling/recycling of metal sound anywhere. Its a very distinct sound.

Call the local bike shops in your area and ask if they have race gas and what octane rating they have. You should run 110 just to be safe. yes you will have to mix the oil and gas just like you would with regular 91 oct pump gas. VP is a brand of race gas. 110 is the octane.
