They're good bikes. Reliability is a question of how well the bike was taken care of before you buy it. One of my guys at work has one. If you have specific questions, let me know and I will ask him.

Good reliable bikes overall. Main problem though is handling. One of the worst handling sport bikes I've ever rode. A good handling bike boost's the enjoyment factor a 100%, even if your just using it for transportation. You should be able to find a good bike 600cc cafe a lot newer for around those prices.

You should have bought my Harley when you had a chance. You know what I was going to let it go for.

Get a Prius....LOL.

Can't believe those things can get 60MPG...sheesh...

They would do even better than that if Toyota would nut up and allow them to operate in a pure electric mode.

One of my best friends has that exact bike, he's owned it for 12+ years and its been pretty reliable. I've ridden it a few times and its a big heavy bike compared to a modern 600. If you're trying to save gas it'll prolly only get ~30 mpg.
