HardIzZlE Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 im about to put on my e brake block off plate & i wanted to know if i should use loctite on the 2 bolts thx Quote
CadillacBanshee Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 You can if you want. If you plan on taking it off to polish it or for any other reason DO NOT put loctite. Quote
FireHead Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Antiseize is probably more appropriate. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 i just bolt mine on... theres really no issue if it comes loose or lets dirt behind it... there is a seal on that shaft... id just tighten it down but if you want to loctite it use blue so its not a bitch to get off... Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I didn't use it my blockoff, never had a problem. Quote
seabass Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I didn't put lock tite on mine but I did put a thin layer of gasket sealer on it. It's never come loose. Quote

I didn't use it on that stator cover either & running fine! I've checked those screws after a few weeks of hard trail riding and no prob there. Remember to replace those stator cover screws with allen head ones! Quote
