Keep the FMFs for now....and get a set of carbs.

Stock carbs bored to 28 will choke the motor (with a drag port) worse than FMFs will.

Get a set of 35's at least. If it's a good drag port 39's will work.

Then get a good pipe.

 

Shearers are my choice...those bastards rev forever...and the fit and finish of them going up over the air filters is awesome!!!

I will get some pics when its done. custom pipe is a great idea, maybe I will ride on my fmf's for this year and do customs this winter. reason being that I am going to go 4mill stoke after this season

1) who is doing your motor work some one in the wyo/colo area ?

20 You are also wasting money having them ported for a 350 if you are going to a 4mm next year IMO it would run hard unported with the 4mm crank and then port next year.

 

I am assuming you run walden on of the fastest bikes on the hill last year was a unported 4mm but it did not run as hard on the flats.

Well I finally got the shee back together. took awhile for him to get it done (he was swaped) but I got a good deal, $400 for drag port, polish and head shaved. 180 and 181 on compression and straight race fuel. very pleased!! will get some pics up soon
