highroller355 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 i rite now have stockers that spin in 1 st and 2nd i have a set of 18.5 slicks on 10 inch rims havent put them on yet, really thinking or american racer or hoosiers but what size and what size rim, also wher can i get the best deals or if anyonehas a used set for sale?looking to run 1/8 to 1/4 mile thanks i advance Quote
bigboybanshee Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 I've always ran 20" American Racers on 10" wheels, but I don't think they're being made in that size anymore. The slicks would be fine to run, but if you're going to run the 1/4 with 18" tires, you're going to have a seriously large front sprocket on there with a small rear sprocket or else you'll tap out way before the finish line. Those 18" slicks should work good for the 1/8 mile though. Quote
