96_banshee_96 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 The correct way to do a plug chop 1. would be to warm your bike up to operating temps. 2. Switch to brand new plugs. 3. Rip thru the gears hold it WOT for few seconds or so in 5th and 6th. 4. Pull the clutch in kill the motor and coast to a stop. 5. Put old plugs in. Take the bike back and do the chop. This will give you a more accurate reading rather then riding around for 2 to 4 hours and then doing a chop. Quote
