I'm ready to put my bike back together. When I bought it it had only FMF Fattys on it and 260 main jets. It ran great. I have since added, a K&N filter, removed the inside snorkel but left the top on, 13 tooth front sprocket , two stage reed petals and pro light pistons. (stock bore) I ordered an assortment of jets and I'm ready to put my carbs back together. I'm at sea level (Massachusetts) and usually between 65 to 85 degrees. What jet should I start with? Am I correct that I should leave the needle in the middle clip, since I don't have a ton of mods? I want to stay on the safe side also. I don't want to be to lean. Thanks in advance for any info.

Id start with a 280, center clip, chop it and work from there.

i agree...i cant see needing to go any bigger than a 280. but if you wanna be super safe start at 290, check the plugs and work from there..
