seabass Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 (edited) I'm ready to put my bike back together. When I bought it it had only FMF Fattys on it and 260 main jets. It ran great. I have since added, a K&N filter, removed the inside snorkel but left the top on, 13 tooth front sprocket , two stage reed petals and pro light pistons. (stock bore) I ordered an assortment of jets and I'm ready to put my carbs back together. I'm at sea level (Massachusetts) and usually between 65 to 85 degrees. What jet should I start with? Am I correct that I should leave the needle in the middle clip, since I don't have a ton of mods? I want to stay on the safe side also. I don't want to be to lean. Thanks in advance for any info. Edited April 2, 2007 by seabass Quote
fastrthnu Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Id start with a 280, center clip, chop it and work from there. Quote
