grim5467 Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I know this might sound stupid but i have know clue. I am building a crotch rocket with a banshee engine, so i can race it against my friend crotch rocket with a Kawasaki H2. Now the reason behind this is that motor should be very light compared to a normal motor for the bike. Now seeing that the banshee engine is minus a gear, no cams no extra metal around the cams less exhaust and other thing like that i imagine it to be really light so i was wondering. Plus, i like 2-strokes for there power band and you can rebuild them yourself and that it is cheap to do, well cheaper than a 4-stroke. Also Yamaha had a bike in the 80's with a banshee style of motor an air-cooled version called a RD350 and a water-cooled version RZ350, but it had a thing in the exhaust called a power valve. But nonetheless i would like to know the weight of the motor for a comparison. Thanx, Mike. Quote
