leeh226 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I have bought a coolhead for my banshee and was wanting some suggestions on fuel type and octane to use with 18cc domes. It also has toomey t-6's, 28mm carbs, pyramid reeds, porting to the cylinders, vito's power pistons, and I also have the adjustable timing plate. Also any suggestions on advance would also be good. Animalman294 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 You need to check your compression. Your fuel octane will depend where that is, and you should test it after you adjust your timing. You should be safe at +4 on the timing................. Quote
8buck Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I run 18cc domes in mine at 5000'. I HAVE TO run a mix of 93 and 110 octane! Straight 93, it runs like crap. I mix it 50/50. Quote
