I have bought a coolhead for my banshee and was wanting some suggestions on fuel type and octane to use with 18cc domes. It also has toomey t-6's, 28mm carbs, pyramid reeds, porting to the cylinders, vito's power pistons, and I also have the adjustable timing plate. Also any suggestions on advance would also be good. Thanks for any help or suggestions

Thanks for everybodys imput... So pretty much throw them away since I have 28mm carbs and no clearance issues... Bansh-eman, very nice on the bouncing boobs....

I bought a basket case banshee engine and it has reed spacers with it. It has 28mm carbs and pyramid reeds. I am not sure where the reed spacers go. I was told they go on top of the reeds but I want to be sure. Thanks......

I took my frame and control arms to a body shop and they cut the rear control arm mounts off and moved them back to fit. I also had them move the lower shock mount on the control arm so I would have more clearance between the spring and upper control arm. Without moving it the spring was rubbing on the control arm. They done a really nice job with the extra braces on the control arm. I had the frame and control arms powercoated and it looks pretty cool. Heim joints sounds pretty cool. That should look nice.. I am putting the yfz450 suspension on my banshee and I'm at the point where I need tie rods. I am ordering new ones but not sure if I need 450 or banshee tie rods because of the length. If anyone knows I could use the info. Thanks......

Thats what I wanted to know. I also have a vitos hot rod crank in it also but I'm going to change the domes anyway.

I am building an engine for my 2002 banshee and I bought a new coolhead with 16cc domes. I have ported cylinders, vitos power pistons, .60 over bore, v-force 3 reeds, 28mm pwk carbs, t-6's, and adjustable stator plate. I do mx and trails with my bikes and I am at about 500ft above sea level. I wanted to know if the domes that came with the head are to small even with 120 octane fuel.
