I'm on my second pro design water impeller. The first one wore down where the water seal rides and started leaking. The first one lasted for about a year. The second one has been in my bike for 4 years and havent had a problem with it yet.

We have made impellers for Vito's in the past but would not make the stainless shaft impellers because that simply was a bad idea. Stainless even hardened has lousy wear properties and even the seals (rubber) will wear the stainless. We made them with alloy steel and hardened the shaft. This is the correct way to go. Sharp edges and even chamfered edges on the chaft will "shave" the seal every time. You must have radiused or rounded edges to avoid this. We will make some more under chariot brand in a few months and they will be top quality. My suggestion is that people buy an aftermarket assembly and put the stock shaft on the aluminum end.
