ClimbAnyHill Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 I just got a bumper & had some junk & grease stains baked into some scratches. I wiped it down with thinner, all that crap loosened up & wiped it clean. Then attacked it with the polish! Quote
Flanagans twin Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 yes thinner will get some lil crap thats built up like that, for old stickers or old glue or anything use thinner or goof off. Quote
91banshee Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 i've always used mothers polish on my pc pipes. if you're like me and ride in mud and muck a lot, it's hard to keep them shining all the time. it's no easy, quick fix, but mothers and some elbow grease will clean them up fine. i've heard using a sos pad will take any rough stuff off before polishing, but i'd be concerned with more scratching also. yea mothers billet polish works awsome and makes pipes look new again , if they have some rust on them , wd40 and pad will take off the rust and then just repolish Quote
