That tells me it's trying to get more air in (via a raised slide) because it's getting way too much fuel. Unless he got the idle and the air screw confused.... Rob, please confirm whether you mean the actual idle speed screw or the air mixture screw. Good eye!!! I did misinterput that, but I still think it'll idle and run better w/ the 30 pilots...Try both Rob and let us know. When I had pc pipes on my shee, it didn't even like to start w/ 25 pilots, but others on here have said otherwise.....soo.....give the 25's a try...just for shits and giggles... Quote

The only bikes I jetted that liked that fat a pilot were FMF pipes. Most definately, I did a buddy's bike with PC pipes, and we put left the pilot stock, and he had a full airbox. That thing idled like a champ, there's no way it even needed a 27.5 pilot. 30s are HUGE! Especially for just pipes and filter in a stock box. Quote

Yea, its wierd...The only pipes I've seen that like a richer pilot was the PC and CPI pipes...... other than that, all the other pipes that I''ve tried liked the 25 pilots. I've tried the fmf gnarlies, fatties, fmf high revs, Ptr mids, ptr highs, pc, trinity, toomey, bills, fmf sst's, CPI, shearer, and dmc. Quote
