paulnyw Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 ok i finally got my motor done!! these are the mods .80 over cylinders with basic clean up port, pro lite pistons, carbs have tors removed, air box with k&n no lid ,fmf fatties, and i live in new york about an hour north of the city i am thinking of starting with a 310 main 25 pilot and needle on the middle clip sound good? any suggestions? thanks Quote

Probably settle in for a 290 or 300 in the summer, depending on how much the porting was cleaned up. If you are less than .5 turns out on the air screw to get it to idle smoothly and respond off idle...get the next bigger pilot. I'd say you're close...if not a hair rich with that jetting. Normally a 4 degree advance doesn't require a rejet, once in a while a bump one size.... Quote
