ok i finally got my motor done!! these are the mods .80 over cylinders with basic clean up port, pro lite pistons, carbs have tors removed, air box with k&n no lid ,fmf fatties, and i live in new york about an hour north of the city i am thinking of starting with a 310 main 25 pilot and needle on the middle clip sound good? any suggestions? thanks

i also have a adjustable timing plate and if i do go to plus 4 timing what change on jetting would be needed?

Maybe 320 main...only because it's cold there too.

Probably settle in for a 290 or 300 in the summer, depending on how much the porting was cleaned up.

 

If you are less than .5 turns out on the air screw to get it to idle smoothly and respond off idle...get the next bigger pilot.

 

I'd say you're close...if not a hair rich with that jetting.

 

Normally a 4 degree advance doesn't require a rejet, once in a while a bump one size....

Ditto, I'd also move the clip on the needle to the 4th slot from the top.
