took off stock carbs for cleaning, took off float bowl on first carb and removed main jet, there is a brass washer that comes out,well.......i tried to tap the washer out, later discovering that you dont tap it out,but pry it out!!from all the tapping i beveled the brass washer, thinking it was ok,put it back together, now that cylinder doesnt run!!!!my question is,is this washer act as a seal, beacause that i beveled it out so much,it appears that fuel can go right around the main jet up into the carb causing the one cylinder to suck way too much fuel.as i pulled the plug to see what it looked like,it was soaking wet,and im getting great spark,is this cylinder getting too much fuel beacuse the main jet washer is damaged

I forgot to put the washer back in once and my banshee still ran, Yours might be beveled and not letting it seal at all though.

Just another thought, did you put the choke tube back between the 2 carbs? Easy mistake to make and it'll make the one side not run.

before i took mine apart it ran great,. and when I took em apart to rejet I noticed that a washer was missing out of one carb. Still runs great. I just took it out of the other one so they`d be even. I think its just so that the plastic guard on there doesnt crack screwing in the mains.
