Anyone on here get UFC 68 Last night?

I missed the fights......but the first thing I did when I got up this morning was to go to ufc.com just to see what happened. Randy is 43 years old I believe and is one tuff s.o.b. It's kinda funny that tim and randy are friends, but business is business. Sounds like I really missed out this time. ::

That was one of the worst UFCs I've seen.

Next one looks to be almost as bad. Enough with all the god damn reality show fighters. They suckED and still suck.

I really don't like the reality ufc show nor the fights on there either. They do suck but Franklin doesn't, I thought he would do better but I think he's just rough around the edges since it's a comeback. He can really bring it though! I thought Hughes would do major damage on Lytle but Lytle impressed me.. He did what he could which wasn't much but he didn't allow Hughes to pound him to death. I couldn't believe Lytle got away from those arm locks, Good shit!

I can't watch Franklin again after seeing Anderson Sylva (my new favorite fighter) smash his face with 20 knees.

Matt Hughes was dominated by St.Pierre in his last fight and was worthless in last nights fight.

 

2 friggen losers with half ass wins. UFC continues to pimp it's "stars" meanwhile, they're losing a ton of viewers to PRIDE. If Pride didn't just lose CroCop and Rampage Jackson to UFC, I'd be done with UFC altogether.

Yet your bitchin because you don't want to see fighters that have lost in the past win now because you don't approve of who they are fighting???

Get over it or don't watch it anymore because honestly, if you are not satisfied with the action last night then I doubt you ever will be..

Oh and I like how your saying that UFC is losing there viewers to pride... Last night had the largest turnout yet. UFC is getting huge fast and rollin in the dough.. To be honest I would seriously be suprised if Pride is still around in the next few years..

I don't pay $40 a month because I hate the UFC. I love it. Some great fighters and awesome fights. But the fact is, they keep pushing these cheesy fighters from their reality show. That's one of my beefs.

They pull a guy from retirement to fight for the heavyweight belt when they just signed on 3 new heavyweights that people are dying to see.

And yes. My opinion is that last nights 4 GOD DAMN FIGHTS IN 3 HOURS sucked.

 

I hear Pride may have to sell. That would be one bigass group if they merged with UFC.

UFC is getting bigger, look at the sponsors they're getting. It's not underground anymore. I remember seeing empty seats during the fights. It also became a trendy thing for the Hollywood mofo's. Now there all up in the front rows. Can't take anything from PRIDE, a true technical sport there! Ohio had something new going on in there state so everyone came out the woodworks & packed the house!

Hughes fight was boring...and I personally think he lost the first round, but won the last two. Boring, either way.

 

Franklin fight was pretty good...I was glad to see that cocky Brazillian get his ass whooped by the American...I truthfully didn't see the fight going like that.

 

I think CroCop would beat Randy...but, that's just me. I agree...let him face Arlovski...that would be a good test for him.

To be honest, Rampage didn't really impress me in his UFC debut.

 

Speaking of MMA...did anybody see Nick Diaz put the hurt on that Japenese dude in Pride in Vegas I think it was??

That was the best I've seen Diaz fight in quite some time!!!

That was some damn good fighting going down, especially by cotoure. I give him props for coming right out and almost knocking sylvia out. It was awesome watching cotoureland his hard rights and then take him down. All in all i give it an 8 (out of 10)

Thats one of the things I really liked seeing.. Anytime Coture wanted him down, he went down.. That guy showed he is ONE STRONG BASTARD.. I agree with your rating as well.. I would probably throw up a 8 for the night.. Only thing that could have made it better for me would of been seeing John Fitch's fight..

I totally agree that Dana White is a pimp. He has done a great job from a business stand-point, but has gone overboard from a fight fans' prospective. But you see all the fighters coming to the UFC (or returning like Rampage) because of the UFC's popularity and the payday. Pride doesn't pay well and the IFL, Pancrase, KOTC, ADCC, etc. pay even less, so the UFC has become the national stage with endorsements virtually included. It hasn't been as bad lately as I'm seeing less and less "Celebrity and Titty" cam shots between fights, which takes up time to show more fights. If I want a sensless celebrity opinion I'll tune into E!, and if I want to watch some titties I'll tune into the Playboy channel. I've purchased or attended every UFC since #4, and at #60 I told my wife I was done with them (like you), but since then the UFC as a show has gotten better. I stayed around because of the Wanderlei Silva/Fuck Lidell announcement that has disipated. I'm sure more so now because Silva was just beaten by Dan Henderson. Last nights fights were decent and the main was amazing and totally unpredicatable.

I saw the Diaz fight and I agree, he did better than he has in a while. He ditched those poking, short, choppy punches he's been throwing lately, even though he's still no powerhouse. I notice that a lot of guys come storming onto the scene and then hit a wall. It's whether they rebound or splat that tells the story. I hope he starts fighting like he used to.
