racer Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Ya, they are diff. Brake cleaner evaporates totally and is alcohol based im pretty sure. Carb cleaner on the other hand does not evap, it leaves an oily residue. Quote
BigRed350x Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 I use an industrial parts washer most times. Heats diesel up pretty freaking hot and washes your shit just like a dishwasher, just with diesel. I've thought about buying a dishwasher and rigging it up in my garage to wash parts in... Ha Ha! theshee Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 If you use brake cleen make sure you do it where there is plenty of air and dont soak yourself in that stuff. If I breathe it and get it on me I will get flu like symptoms in 24 hours. I thought I was gonna die last time, threw up all night and had a terrible fever. Just be careful with it. Quote
