DOTD Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 (edited) I absolutely hate to do it but The shee needs a new home. It has not been ridden since May of last year. It has however undergone a very expensive makeover since that ride though. Since we can never get a dune trip lined up anymore, I can't just let it sit in the garage anymore. 2000 Yamaha Banshee CA Green stickered Brand new oem pistons and rings, Noss Cool Head W/ 19cc domes Brand new Chrome Toomey T5's w/ silencers Brand new V Force 3's Custom billet k&N 2 into 1 air intake Brand new Ricky stator 200 watt stator Adjustable stator plate (set at +4 deg) Shaved flywheel Shift star mod Heavy duty clutch springs Key switch relocated under seat TORS removed Twist throttle kit MSR Dominator Bars Handlebar mounted chrome 50 watt dune lights Stock location chrome 35 watt dune lights (changed since pics taken) MSR Raptor EZ pull clutch lever YZ kill switch 2006 silver front brake resi and lever Brand new +4 swingarm Steel braided +6 rear brake line Biohazard rear rotor E brake block off kit Brand new O ring chain Brand new front chain slider (not the donut style) Brand new front wheel bearings New GBC 21/7/10 sand shark fronts Brand new Skat Trak 22/12/8 Haulers on douglas blue labels Chrome pegs AC racing aluminum six pack rack Brand new Coleman cooler Stiffy 5/16 lighted whip Relocated blue lighted light switch Bud light graphics Shaved front and rear plastics Gripper seat cover There's probably more I am forgetting right now but thats the most of it. I have not even ridden her since all this work. Last time she was ridden she was stock except for some FMF fatty's. This bike is super clean, and ready to ride, it needs nothing but some sand. It need to go to somebody who will use her more than once a year, and since all my buddy's are flakes I'm gonna let it go. I still have alot of the stock stuff too so if it doesn't sell as is I may put it back to stock and sell the goodies. But I'm not open to that just yet. Located in So. Cal area. $4000 obo (760)-885-0913 Edited February 13, 2007 by DOTD Quote

DOTD Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 I wish I could go out to Dumont this weekend. I would wait a couple hours before putting the signs on her if you know what I mean. You know gotta make shure she purrs like a kitten out at the hill. But I can't get away from work with the new house and all. Quote
DOTD Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 Not interested in parting it out, but, I may consider trade for a nice YFZ450 that the wife could trail ride. She is really wanting a YZ150F dirtbike if Yamaha ever releases it, but who knows when they will. Quote
Handyman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I know of a couple people wanting a banshee since I got my cheetah,,,,I'll ask around and see if they are still interested...Are you firm on the price or is there a little negotiation room? Quote
DOTD Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 Thanks, the price is firm for now. Since I'm not hurting to get rid of her. Quote

Duner440 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Hey DOTD, what bore are the cylinders on? Do they have any port work done on them? Quote
DOTD Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 I need a stock rear brake disc. I live in escondido but have a freind that lives near you. PM me a price if you saved it and its straight. thanks. $20 and I'll ship it to yo. Quote
DOTD Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 Hey DOTD, what bore are the cylinders on? Do they have any port work done on them? Stock bore, when I got the bike it was ridden less than 10 times. When I tore it down to rebuild with te mods the cylinders and pistons looked excellent, but since I was in there I put new pistons and rings just so I know that everything was new. No porting done. DOTD Posted February 20, 2007 Author Report Posted February 20, 2007 Somebody here can give this bike a good home. Come on she's collecting dust. Quote
