seabass Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I'm thinking of dying my red nets to black. Has anybody ever done this? If so how does it come out and what type of dye? Any input would be appreciated. Quote
BumpaD_Z28 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I was thinking of doing the same (going from blue to black) until I found out that they sell replacement nets for my DG brand bars for under $20 .... Also I've had good luck with RIT brand dye, when dying R/C parts ~DaVe Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I just went to REI and got new net material in a different color and had my grandma sew them up. Quote
GFB Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 You can buy the duplicolor spray vinyl dye at any autoparts store. That's what I'm gonna try on my nets. Quote
seabass Posted February 11, 2007 Author Report Posted February 11, 2007 Cool. If you try it anytime soon, please post how it worked. Quote

IROOST1 Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I use a big fat permanent marker to "dye" the wearing nets. Quote
