halfrack Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I know both of these throttles have been talked about seperately but I have not been able to find any opions on which is better. So basicaly Im curious to know which would benefit me more as I have recently had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and my hands tire rather quickly? My cables seem fine compared to other stock shees thumb throttle. Im running stock carbs of which have less the 10hrs of ride time, so Im fairly confident the slides are not all gummed up. I dont think theres anything abnormaly wrong with my throttle setup to make it stiff its just my hands are not up to full stength. The doc says it takes over a year to fully recover so in the mean time Im looking for a little remedy. Hopefully some of you guys that have experienced both throttles could chime in would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Quote
werner Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 either i believe would work. my riding buddy has carpal tunnel and he uses the cascade thumber. he said its way better then stock. cascade has 2 designs, straight or curved to your thumb. the straigher (old design) i believe reaches out a little further so might be somthing to look at. :ninja: Quote

Just makes riding more pleasurable for the long rides. Quote

dajogejr Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I bought one, used it once...didn't care for it. I sold it to ToomeyBanshee. PM him, see how he likes it ( I think Bob said it would be for his son's quad...) Quote
Bansh-eman Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 they come with a bearing and new nylon insterts... you just repace the shaft and the insert and hookup the spring and washers like normal.. its ez to do... Quote
