89 LT250R

Totally redone from the frame up.

-frame was sandblasted ,primered and painted metallic blue

- engine was tore down put in new crank, rod,.040 weisco piston and rings, new .040 bore, mild porting, shaved head and new clutch.

- every bearing or bushing was replaced, a-arms,swingarm,axle and every bearing in rear suspension linkage was replaced.

- new upper and lower balljoint, and tierod ends

- new FMF fatty with powercore silencer

- UNI clamp on air filter

- carbon fiber reeds

- +6 custom swingarm

- new chain (hd)

- skidplate

- fat bars and clamp

-+2 durablue axle

 

Everything is new on this quad other than the plastic.

Looking to trade for banshee or 250 2stroke bike or $3000 obo

Not to be a smart ass...but...

 

Is that nose piece and seat original and original color? 85 and 86 had black seat and nose cones, and the seat was straight cut in back. (I know because I had one)

 

87 and up had blue or other color seat (one year had the fugly speckled seat), and the seat was a T seat at the back?

The seat is a t-shaped seat and its not the original seat cover. As for the nose? The grill is originally blue i sprayed it black.

Cool beans...sorry to question. I was actually just trying to save you problems if that was the case...that's all.

Guy I'm helping out bought an 87 banshee frame, supposed 2000 or newer motor, but someone put all older electrical plugs on it, ... :whistling:

 

It's not adding up...:)
