I just installed V-Force2 Reeds on my banshee. Do the V-Force Reeds Richen up the jetting or Lean the jetting out???????? Please let me know where my jetting should be, also I live in Central NJ with the Temp. about 25-35degrees. Right now I have 300main jet and 25pilot Needle Middle Clip, Open AirBox, Toomey T5 pipes, Bored.60 Over, Stock Carbs,Cool Head 22cc domes, TORS removed.

you should have a 350 main for those temps. If it starts hard then throw a 27.5 pilot. The reeds will richen the mids. Come summer, I'd step the mains back down to 330's and pilot down to 25. If your running colder than 30 degrees, then you may want to step up to a 360 main.

Dont you think 350 mains is a little high for my mods. I have 300mains in now and to jump 5 mainjet sizes seems a lot. Let me know what you think???

300's are too low to start w/. If I thought that would be too high, then I wouldn't recommend them. the lean is mean theory is bullshit, you need fuel to make power. Try it and you tell me.

I would not say that the "lean is mean" theory is bullshit, but I would agree that 300 is too small. You need fuel and oxygen to make power. Too much fuel WILL kill HP, however too little will destory engines.

Fuel+Oxygen+timing+octane in the right proportions=We hope big Power.

Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I think you would only want to be around a 320 main with 25 or so pilots on that setup. I havent run an open air box since I hydro locked my blaster back in '98. :yelrotflmao:
