bansheeseat$$ Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 with the added hp he should be able to spin the 10 padds plenty ....id go with the 10's but thats just me... then again id have a +6 on that bike not a +4 If he was just racin it then yeah it would be a +6 and more paddles,Probably 12-14 with 72 + inches of roll out.It was setup as a dunner/hillshooter not racer/dunner. Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Earlier tonight I was just thinking about the wheelie factor. I forgot about the wheelie factor because I was so worried that the engine would spin 8 paddles and I wouldn't have the traction. Then I started thinking about the fact that my fat ass is heavier than you and figured that would give some extra traction and how my '99 performed with the 8 paddle Sand Sharks. With what you listed above and the other factors factored in I am going to get the 8 paddles. If I really want to point the nose up all I have to do is give a little more gas and dump the clutch or just nail it in a low gear, It's not like a have a wimpy motor. Don't worry kai I never doubted your advise even slightly...you have provided way too much info that has been damn near perfect....At this point if you said a boost bottle would add more HP I would go buy one and put it on. LOL,Not going to recommend a boost bottle,Besides it would be a bitch to get one to mount to the cr 250 style intakes. Quote
Crazy05 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 LOL,Not going to recommend a boost bottle,Besides it would be a bitch to get one to mount to the cr 250 style intakes. Launch in 2nd My six swinger dunes just fine Whatever paddle you get, play with different seat positions when launching. Sliding your butt back or forward just a few inches can make a big difference. If your big you will probaly need to sit all the way up to start but you will want the exta traction at the top of the hill or end of the strip. When I launch, i sit in the middle. Right as the bike starts too roll out i start sliding back on the seat and get a perfect power wheelie. If I sit too far back it just comes up too far and sometimes I have to shut it down. Not good. I have 8 paddles but not the ponies you have and I'm a lightweight. My motor is also a high rever. I would get the right paddles and swinger for the power. Winning the race should be 1rst on the list Duning should be 2nd. Put that power to the ground and go stomp on us less powered guys and most all the 4 strokes. Good luck Quote
