WALLACE84 Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I know I have made a couple post on this subject before but now that my shee is almost done again, I wanted to know what you guys with +4's think about them. I debating on getting either a stock length roundhouse or a -1, -2 roundhouse because I go to the dunes and liek to drag my friends but also ride trails once in a while and do some jumping and wanted to know what you guys input on trail riding and jumping was on them. I have never ran a extended swinger they have always been either stock roundhouse or -1s. Thanks for looking -Dan Quote
theshee Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I love my +4. It is nice, and tough. Bigred abused the hell out of this thing and its still like brand new. If you get one have locogato make you one, they are nice! Quote
shanYE west Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I had a +2 and liked it alot for duning and the every now and then drag.. If you decide you dont want that +4 let me know I might be interested in buying it back from you. Quote
yamaha04 Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 well i would say since you are asking about a +4.-1and -2 i would go with stock length just my opinion. Quote
Handyman Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I have a +4 and I love it. i like it so much I am thinking about getting one and installing it on my '99..Once I get my '05 out to the track and see how it reacts to jumps and the track i'll make my final decision.. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 As soon as I finish up my bike for now im going to try it with stock swinger and see how bad it is.Then Ill make my choice of either +4 or +6.Im going to have loco make me one to.His swingers are loco proof and Bigred proof.Lol Quote
theshee Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I am going to check out bigreds +6 and see how I like it, so I may be selling a +4 06banshee. I will let you know if I decide to go with a +6 and I will cut you a good deal on my +4. It is a loco swinger too. Quote
Animalman294 Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Yeah, I debated for a year about whether to get a +4 or or a +6, but with the cub I know the front is coming up and I figured I wanted more control over when it did that. I know that the +4 is still a pretty good all around length for ridin', dunnin'. But if you are not pushin' a lot of power then you should be fine with the +4. Plus if you don't like it there are a hundred people on here that will buy it from you, then you can buy something else if you choose.............. Quote
dajogejr Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I've got a +6 for sale...>LOL. Seriously, what mods do you have to warrant a longer swinger? IMO, you don't need a longer swinger until you start to get into porting... Quote
Animalman294 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 dajogejr is right unless you plan on puting more mods on in the near future a +6 is overkill for your setup. I have one because once I get through putting my garage back together I am putting my cub back together and the +6 will work nicely................ Quote
WALLACE84 Posted January 30, 2007 Author Report Posted January 30, 2007 Im getting play/dune port on some .20 over cylinders and then on my backup cylinders im getting them drag ported Quote
