Which is better .. CPI's ( Not the drag one ) or Tommey T5's with few mods like Filter and Vforce maybe some more

Mostly dune riding

Thanks

i believe all cpi pipes are consider drag pipes.and for you just go w the t5,unless youre going to go w a nice dune drag port.none the less t5s respond great to porting,so if youre doing a lot of dunning w mild mods get the t5.

Well personally i like the CPI pipes, that is what i have on my banshee and i love them. i live about 10 miles from CPI. and i absolutely love them. They are sick pipes for the dunes. thats just about the only place i ride.

Ive had both. And with the dune port that i have i would say that the cpi will rev alittle harder. But if you a fit and finish kind of guy i would go with the toomeys. Was not a whole lot of difference in my opion. Im considering sell my new cpi and going back to the toomey, just because of the fit and finish.

I think he means "out of frame" CPI pipes.

If you have to ask the question, honestly...I'd go with T5 pipes.

What is done to your bike in the motor/mod department?

I have a K&N filters with Vforce3's that all. Btw i mean the Inframe CPI's not out of frame ones from the side. Thanks

Are you thinking of going to a bigger motor or more mods like porting? I would go with the t5's cause they are more of a all around kinda pipe. I feel as though the cpi's might be a tad to much. Really depends on future mods and also riding style and what kind of riding. I have cpi's on my 4mill and I do trail ride it, yes it can be a hand full when I start to get on the pipe but thats why I own a banshee. I love the kick in the pants feel but it is a little lazy on the bottom. The t5's would start sooner and probably help traction and be more trail friendly. Good luck with your choice.

If you mostly dune ride I would get CPI's. They pull pretty hard, and you can mod and mod and mod and not have to change pipes. Ive never had toomeys on anything but I really like my brothers CPIs.

I used to have CPIs and I loved the performance. They just suck for working on your bike.If I had A choice I would probably go shearers because LOVE topend and dont care much about bottom end only when I trail ride lol(90% of the time lol). But if I was leaving it stock no porting what so ever I would go t5s.But if your planning on Porting and then stroker and carbs then reeds. Then you ride it for a month loose a race and get pissed and go all out and get Cubs and a 10mm.I would go with shearers BB.....Sorry I just had to ventilate.lol Stay with the t5s
