I can't say that I agree. :roll: I went to the 2:1 from the pods & didn't notice a bit of change in HP. :? Both work great. The 2:1 is, in MHO, is easier to maintain & keep clean, and you can get a K&N for it. I am using the UNI filter w/outerwear & it works great. Quote

rzcolobanshee Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 The 2 into 1 w/uni flows just as much air as the k&n, even the clamp ons. The uni filter has more surface area, this is how it can flow just as much air, plus the 2 into 1 has an intake tract. The clamp on k&n's fall off all the time and just plain suck. I just wish toomey made one for bigger carbs, I'll have to go to clamp ons soon myself Quote

I always make sure they are on all the way, and tighten the crap out of the clamp to make sure they dont move. They work for me pretty good. Bat Quote

dtrampey Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 i've run the K&N clampons for 2 years now without one falling off ever!!! The only way they fall off is if you don't tighten them right or your boots are busted or cracked and make it wobble too much. Quote
