  3. Just looking for some input for sand riding ans safety. Is it wise to run pods or a 2:1 filter instead of the airbox in the sand?
  4. yeh i have one....it looks cool itsone of them whit brothers ones.....it kinda gets inthe way once in a while , but rarely.....the amp link iam not sure about i never had one nor do i understand what it does.....all i knwo is you gott to change bearings all the time form the posts i read....so what magical part do you guys think a manufacturer will try to suck us all into??
  5. what i want to knwo is that poeple always say Boost bottles suck nuts and that amp links arent worth shiznit....so just to see out of all the people that read this who actually has a Bosst bottle since it seems to be the new deal in Dirt Wheels and everyone and their mother has one .....i mean shit i got to admit i do have one.....i think it looks really cool and whenever anyone sees it there like wow you have a boost bottle...it is kinda funny cause i havnt noticed a difference at all....well i put my pipes on same time and did the reeds and filter and all that shit , and the twist a(thank god i took the twist off or i would not be here today and in a grave somewhere) so lets just see see who has one or not....for shits and giggles

  7. yeah i already removed the snorkel and i have a UNI_FIlter on it that i bought , but it uses the stock plactic mounting......i have t5's also and drilled the box with 12 holes.....just wanted to get somethign soi can run without the lid.....i got the UNI the same day i got the bike heheh.....and if all esle fails i will have a back up filter if i need one....

  11. well racing ford all your life is great for you guy....but who the fuck ever said anything about a stock one running 10 seconds??? it sure as hell wasnt me....go back and read....and thats funny hehehe the reason ford didnt do it is becsaue they didnt need too with little add ons that cost less than chevy. ..i mean seriously for 23k you cant beat it for a stock gt than paying 33k for a stock camaro Z or more for and ss??? thats funny and isnt it tru that chevy and pontiac arent making them anymore??? i cant wait to see what the new GTO will be like though...and yeah tey are trying to make luxury cars outta them , but only imprts i know of that stand a chance were supra's (wayyyy fast) i havnt heard of too many others that could but i stopped racing caus ei hurt my back and broke my pelvis in 3 spots due to a drunk mother fucker in a honda prelude going 100 mph and smacking the side of my car......so now i do the even more srtennuos thing of riding quads which i am not very good at , but i enjoy it very much...
  12. umm realy a 5.0 is 302 CU inches and a 4.6 is 281 CU inches so how is that the same ??? and can u all answer me who the hell is this quadracer guys and why is he hated....???
  13. ford acutally made a better decision with the 4.6L engine as it produces much more torgue and more HP that the 302....the only, but hey to easch it own ...we are all entitle to theri own opinion right?? Now that accord sutff is pretyy sad ...i cant believe that dude lost to and v6 accord...heheh doies he know how to drive??? or is this one of thoses thing where you going to say hey lost driving backwards in mud like that one quad post about losing to a polaris in the rides of shame thread ??
  14. yeah and they do have alot of cheap plasstic in it as welll hehe.....but also like i said i may have gotten a fast bitch from the factory ...it happens like that sometimes.......13.9 is a resepctable number for being stock....dont foget weather track conditions and all the at other shit do make a huge differece......and ya know what ......come to the south bend area and gety a SS from a dealership and i will have a GT from a dealership ....brand new ones stock .....and we will run them .......shit got a nice flat road to do so and it is already marked off.....oh yeah i forgot to mention my GT was a stick ......man i wish i woudl have kept that car now.....i shoulda kept my mouth shut for not having it anymore.....i got some pics though ....and probably some time slips some where...oh welll......like i said not to start shit , but thats how it happened .....i didnt even believe it when it happened hehe...oh well arguing is kinda fun hehehe.....

  16. oh and youy know what hammerhead.....mustangs also too have better suspension than before to limit spinning and they also have a traction control......and as for spinning i spun the hell outta my tiresi mean damn i launched 4500rpm and before i left the line i was in second , but when they gripped i flew by all the cars i raced and watched poeple look like they just shit theri pants cause when they left the line i was still there..., but thats jsut the way i drive and i couldnt figure any other way to get out of the hole without falling on my face.....it worked for me i mean geez 12.90 on slicks and flowmasters???? i was really impressed then not to mention all the other shit i did after that...but i wont og into those times cause the car was way far from stock.....
  17. umm actually yeah it will and if you knew the specs a stock gt with 4.6 pumps out 260 ponies in 199 and in 2002 or 2003 (cant remember) they switched to 275 poinies......also the mustang is a muck lighter car and is much more controllable thru the rpms and revs much faster....if you dont believe me cmon down to indiana and i will show you ......hey who knows i may have just had a fast bitch from the factory, but i have seen many stangs run shitty ass chevy camaros and firebirds.....and as for the ls1 enginge (ram air right??) it will chew them up ..........no shit.......like i said it really also depends on the driver , but i knwo who i raced had manyraces under their belts.....oh and yeah i have been beaten by crapmaros and fireturds, but never on the street, only at the track where these guys got 60k into their cars and i have 23k into mine ......i mean christ man i was smoking vipers too and they all talked shit withthis little red car with a non working hoodscoop on it....pretty funny .......i mean not that i dont like the firebirs i mean i used to have one, but if you want bang for buck and reliability get a stang........my friedn works at a Ford dealership and will let me take any stang i want out to race ...i had to sell mine cause i couldnt put the banshee in the trunk of it and take it places....and i am not trying to be a dick at all ...i am just pointing out my serious tru life experience....i mean god i hated ford and all i wanted was a frieturd or ss camaro untill i drove one of them ........
  18. ok all not to bash anyone liking of car , but unfortunately ...the stock mustang will spank the camaro all over the place....and yes the camaro was built to keep up with the mustang and spank it, but it never has.....even the ss camaro that is like 38k with ram ait and all tat stuff cant keep up witha stock gt with flowmasters on it .....TRUST me on this one guys i have been racing cars for a long time and i test drove a 1999 SS camaro, 1999 WS6 trans, a 1999 Mustang Cobra, and also a 1999 MUstang GT and the little gt with teh smallest motor of them all SPANKED ALL THE CARS !!!!!!!! now it wouldnt have spanked the cobra if that year for didnt fuck up and screw some stuff out with the maifolds and stuff only putting out as much HP and torque or less than a stock GT in sometimes, but i went for the regualr old gt 35th anniversary edition...i hated for i mean i hated ford......i used tohave a 1972 pontiac firebird, tubbedm caged, 40occ...turbo 350 with 3500 stall...cammed to all hell...headed done all the good shit i mean i cant even list it and dont want to cause it is just numbers puttin out 906 pounds of torque and i drove it to high school every day .....yes high school...shit i am only 22 now....then some bitch hit me in it and totalled the fuck out of the body so i sold it on ebay for 13K...but then i needed a new car ......bought the gt and ran 13.2 stock in quarte mile at firebird international raceway in az then put flomasters and slicks on it and ran 12.90 ...now thats the shit ....i had to wear a fucking helmet hehehe...sorry for the big post .....but camaros suck and i raced too may of them guys that sd that had a bad ass camaro or whatever and i had a stck as GT with flowmasters and finally squeeszed a k&n outta my wallet and some slick and was spanking them....IT IS IN ALL HOW YOU DRIVE AND HOW YOU LAUNCH PEOPLE >.....i dont mean to be a proffessor on this but i have been building cars and drag racing since i was 14 years old ....and have had lots of fun.....not to say that i havnt lost to things , but NEVER NEVER NEVER lost on the street only in competition at the track ....

  20. yeah i probably have them too tight heheh......did anyone wrap them around the outside first then brong them down then thru the side hole and back up????just wondering cause when i look at my nerfs there is NO netting wrapped around the outr perimeter of the tubing ...
  21. ok i just got my new ac nerfs yesterday and have quik question ...i was netting them up and was wondering does everyone else has that extra length of material that dangles form the bottonm of them??? i mean shit it is like 4 or 5 inches??? just wondering if that gets caught in stuff or a a bitch to clean or anythign ......they fucking look cool as hell though and great finish and welds......couldnt be happeier...even thogh they sent me the wrong style ones...they send me out th right ones the next day and now i have 2pairs......hehehe wonder igf i should just keep the others and not send back......but no i wont cause then that raises the price for everyone in the long run.....

  23. well i have to finisht this up tonight cause i didnt get to yesterday ....ok so my air filter is ss till in the ari box how the hell do i see th throats while the aribox is hooked up???? oh well i will try ...thannks thoug o all help i really see to understand this more......now if i wanna change jetting and i take the carbs off and leave tha caps on do i have to re sync?????????? that is for later reference
  24. ok , well her ei am in my shop getting pissed at myself...i got the cable from a local jerk-off 27 bucks for damn cable tht he says will work...ok well i got that on the throttle...so here is problem ..............how do i connect the cable to the carb tops?? is there a bronze thing in there like before , with that fucking spring that is hellacious to get back on ?? i am assuming there is retainer and then wont the needles come out too when i pull the caps???..man i am so fristated this is bull shit i am going to get one carb .............this sucks what the hell i can hone and engince , i can gap rings, i can do all the suspension , and a head , but i ant do a carb...please try and give me step by step details?? i must be a moron ...i dont even understand how to adjust the carbs cable like you said f0r what slack???? sensitivy ?????? please help sorry for being an idiont hehe.....i can ride i just cant work on carbs....
  25. ok cool thanks for responses....so i can use the cable that is on my twist now and pop it off and just put my thumb back on???/ or is it too long???? just wondering cause iwant to do it tonight......i just dont want to take the caps off the carburetors my myself cause i can do EVERTHING else and not have a problem but when it comes to them carbs i am a fucking idiot.....thank you (
