Handyman Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Matt,When I say heat cycles I don't mean let the thing idle.Ride it with diferent throttle positions even going wide open is ok just don't keep it there for long periods of time.Find some place where you can get up some speed and down shift one gear and let the throttle off so the engine can create vacuum in the cylinders,Then shut it off and let it completely cool.Do this a few times and then ride it normally for about a half tank and then leter rip. :woot: Even better I have a railroad that runs next to my house I can run it all day there and not worry about neighbors getting pissed. As for the wide open throttle......With the way you talked about the motor I'm a little scared but I think my excitement will fix that once I get on it. Keep an eye open for a thread and a small of it's maiden voyage and to see how much duct tape, velcro and super glue I used to keep on it. Quote

If you plan on running the stock rear tires on it you wont have to worry about getting yanked off the thing in dirt. The thing will spin every time you blip the throttle no matter what gear your in.Don't be affraid of it getting hurt ridding it.The only thing that will hurt it is if you get on it and hold it wide open with it being all new up top. Handyman Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 I think the stockers will work for now.. The only thing I'll be buying for this is some PC'd hubs from Kaotik1 and then some haulers or extremes....that I will need to do some more research on as far as which will be better to buy. I won't be doing any long full throtle runs the first few hours just because of the new top end. But I will by the end of the day...maybe.... Quote
