IF being the key word there...count on it!! My 10 mil build/parts lists are coming along nicely!!!

sweet, cant wait to see you blow out some bikes/sleds out there. there seems to be some hot heads that come out to white lake, you see that??

anyway, i guess im guna keep these fmfs unless I run into some cheap T5s or CPIs. Hell, maybe even shearers if the price is right. Let me know if u run into any deals, especially around SE MI. Later,.......................

Thanks for the replys I'm going to buy the shearer's and buy a set of 20cc domes when I save up enough benjamins  Thanks guys see you on the sand

I'm putting my shee back together this winter and can't decide on what pipes, it's going to be a dune, fast open trail, and drag bike. the cylinders have a very aggressive dune port and I have an alba head. What would you guys recommend for pipes?

give us some more info on the bike and motor... mods and motor work you already got... when you say open trials how open are we talkin? you mihgt be able to run cpi but youll lose alot of your bottom end either way ... id look at some T5's unless your doing more duning and drag then id say cpi

the trails are more or less real open no tight turns with some jumps here and there, i only get to go to the dunes about 3 or 4 times a year but I get to go to the asphalt drags every friday night, I found some cheap t-5s so I may go for those and if I ever get around to a stroker motor I will get some cpi's or shearer's, thanks for the help

id go with that... if your not sure your going to go with a bigger motor then i wouldnt put the money into some heavy topend pipes and go with some all around pipes instead...

Sorry JD...just parsed this thread again.

I think with 29mm carbs, FMFs are a better choice. If you wanted to get a drag port, then larger carbs...CPI or Shearer would be a good compliment. But...I think you're fine with FMFs...to be honest.

Yeah...I might have my 10 mil done sooner than thought....hopefully we get some ice!!

JMD...you bring up an interesting point. Normally, you want a tighter squish and more compression (smaller domes) when you go bigger bore....there is more piston surface to compress the mix, why did you get 24cc's for your .080 and .100 motor?

Just curious....not trying to be a smart ass at all....

Oh Good question. To be honest Im not sure why I have them. LOL! It was recommended by Vito that I run that dome. The only thing I can figure is since i was bored out so much the lower comp would be easier on the engine. Less heat maybe?
